The Department of Physical Education was established in 2018 under Vidyasagar University. Physical Education is an inter-disciplinary subject involving study of Education, Human Physiology, Anatomy and Social Sciences. Physical Education is a course that focuses on developing physical fitness in the youth. It is the foundation for life long fitness and high performance in competitive sports. The Department currently offers Physical Education as General subject to the students of Education, Sanskrit, History, Music, Bengali, Pol-Science and English. The college has a large play ground with provision of both indoor and outdoor games and sports facilities. Central library is rich with a good number of advanced books for Physical Education.
